Michael Slack

Michael Slack is a producer, set, costume, and properties designer based in Montreal, Canada.  A graduate of both the Dramatic Arts program at Queen’s University and the Scenography Program at The National Theatre School of Canada. Michael has been designing for theatrical productions, opera, dance, circus, museums, film and television for the past twenty years.  Some of his recent work includes collaborations with Edgar Zendejas and the National Circus School of Canada, choreographer Helene Blackburn and Cas Public, Suzanne DeSerres and the McCord Museum, and Kerttu Pussinen and Particle B.

Sébastien Chabot

Director and producer with a sensitive and creative approach, in 1995 after doing his first short film at University of Montreal, he developed a keen interest about the art of filmmaking. Since his studies, he worked as a researcher, director and screenwriter. He has directed more than a dozen television series totalling over 120 hours of programming. The series that he made also won three Gémeaux Awards and have been nominated for the Rose d'Or prizes in Switzerland.

He completed in 2016 the feature documentary The Gardener that he produced, wrote and directed. The film won the Audience Award for best Canadian feature film at the Film Festival of Quebec City. The Gardener was presented in Toronto at the festival Planet in Focus and at the Vancouver Rendez-Vous French Film Festival.
